Instructions for setting up email on your iPhone

Add Mail Account
Enter the mail account information:
Name
: Enter your name
Address
: enter your full email address - example@yourdomain.com
Password
: enter your email address password
Description
: Anything can go here.
Press
Save
At the top of the screen select
POP
(or IMAP only if you know you are using IMAP)
Enter the Incoming Mail Server details:
Host Name
: mail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your domain as in mail.busedge.com)
User Name
: enter your full email address - example@yourdomain.com
Password
: enter your email address password (should be prefilled)
Enter the Outgoing Mail Server details:
Host Name
: mail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your domain as in mail.busedge.com)
User Name
: enter your full email address - example@yourdomain.com
Password
: enter your email address password
Press
Save
You may get the following message :
“The certificate for “SMTP:example@yourdomain.com@smtp.yourdomain.com” may not be validated”
Choose
Continue
If you get a message that a secure connection cannot be established, choose to continue
SSL should be set to
OFF
(this is a default setting). You may have to go confirm this more than once and return to edit the mail setting to confirm SSL is off.
NOTE: The ports will be configured automatically during the connection process, however some ISP's dictate the usage of port 25 for SMTP traffic so we allow you to change the SMTP port to 366.
